It was an email, but he didn’t even have time to check it. He was frozen in place by those words. Jordan came to his wits and grabbed his companion by the collar. His voice was trembling with anxiety. “What are you talking about? I already paid those animals! Why are they still on the yacht? Where’s Willa? Where did they take her? Why did they act on their own?“>
His friend didn’t expect him to lose control like this and frowned as he pushed his arm away. “Calm down. The waiter said that Willa found them herself and asked to go with them. Jordan, does Willa know what you’ve been doing? Otherwise, she wouldn’t have gone with them after being dragged away twice!“}
Jordan slumped into a chair, muttering to himself. “No, that’s impossible. I gave Willa the drug myself and I watched her drink it. She shouldn’t have been conscious. How did they even know where to find her? Which staff member told you this? Bring them here now, I’ll ask them myself!”
Willa isn’t in good health. She’s been bleeding ever since the miscarriage. Nothing can happen to her right now! If those bastards didn’t follow the plan, I’ll have the yacht dock immediately and let the police take them away! If anything happens to Willa, I’ll make them pay with their lives!”
His friend looked at his bloodshot eyes and sighed. “Jordan, this was your own decision. You gave Willa the drug yourself. Everything happening to her now is because of you. Why are you panicking?“}
“Think. If you call the police, with so many people around, someone might report you instead. You’d be walking right into a trap. The staff member is outside. If you don’t believe me, ask them yourself.“}
The next second, the door opened. A staff member fell to their knees, face pale as a sheet. “Mr. Griffin, I swear, I don’t know anything. I really don’t!“2
Jordan’s face darkened. He grabbed the staff member by the throat. His grip tightened and as the staff member’s face turned red from lack of air, he finally spoke. “I’ll ask you once, where is Willa? Where did they take her?”
The staff member’s throat could barely make a sound, but they struggled to mouth a reply.
