“Oh no, there’s no need to…”
“It’s nice, you agree. So it’s settled then, we’re celebrating,” he said and Zabelle’s mouth dropped open over what had just happened.
Without wasting time, Antonio started the car, and he made his way to the high–end restaurant that had recently opened
The evening was a turning point for her, and he wanted to commemorate her first major step into the professional world.
Plus, it was an excuse to take the woman he loved out to dinner.
“This is your day,” he said as they pulled into the vallet area. “You deserve to enjoy it.”
“Isn’t this place expensive!” Zabelle asked.
“You’re rich and so am I.” Antonio responded.
Once parked, Antonio stepped out first, handing the keys to the valet.
He then opened the passenger door for Zabelle, offering his hand to help her out.
They walked toward the restaurant entrance, but as Antonio reached into his pocket, his expression shifted.
“Damn it,” he muttered under his breath as he touched his pockets
Zabelle glanced HT him
“What is it?”
“I left my wallet and phone in the car. He sigh

car” He sighed and gestured toward the restaurant. “You go ahead. I’ll be right back.
He nodded. “I’ll just take a second. Go in and tell them you’re Mrs Garcia.”
Reluctantly, she nodded and turned toward the entrance, while Antonio headed back to the valet.
As Zabelle stepped inside, the restaurant’s interior took her breath away.
The dim lighting, crystal chandeliers, and elegantly dressed patrons spoke of refinement and exclusivity
Before she could take in the sight fully, a maitre d’approached her, his polished demeanor evident in every movement “Good evening, madam,” he said, his tone p
tone polite but firm. “Do you have a reservation?”
Zabelle opened her mouth to respond, but before a single word escaped, someone bumped into her from behind.
The impact threw her off balance, and she stumbled forward.
She braced herself for the inevitable fall, but before she hit the groumal,
strong arms wrapped around her waist, steadying her.
Her first thought was that it was Antonio, but the touch didn’t feel like

Zabelle Troge, her blood turning cold as she slowly turned her head to see who had caught her.
Her heart sank when she saw that it was none other than jeremy.
His face was the same as the remembered, but the smile he had sent a chill through her.
There was a time when it would make her heart flutter, but now all the wondered was what he was up to
She immediately stepped back, trying to put distance between them, but his grip on her didn’t loosen much, to her horror.
“Let go of me, she hissed, her voice low but fin-

Chapter 127
Jeremy’s senile faltered, replaced by a look of hurt. “Is that how you greet someone trying to help you?”
“Help me?” Zabelle scoffed, her eyes darting around the room, desperate to avoid drawing attention. “By stalking me and refusing to take no

Jeremy’s jaw tightened, but he didn’t release her. “You blocked me, Zabelle, without giving me a chance to show you what I found. I was only trying to warn you trying to help you see who Antonio really is”
Her stomach churned, “What are you talking aboup”
“Ask him about Natasha” Jeremy said, his voice lowering as if he were sharing a secret.
His grip on her waist softened slightly, but he still didn’t let go. “See if he tells you the truth.”
The name meant nothing to her, but the implication in Jeremy’s tone set her on edge. No, she couldn’t believe anything that came out of Jeremy’s mouth
“I don’t have time for this,” she said, her voice trembling. “Let me go, Jeremy.
But before Jeremy could respond, a familiar voice rang out from behind them.
“Will you let her go, or do I have to punch you before you do so!”
Zabelle’s blood ran cold. She turned her head slowly to see Antonio standing a few feet away, his dark eyes fixed on Jeremy, his expression unreadable but dangerous.
This was the second time he was catching her with Jeremy, and it was in an unfavourable position for her.
Jeremy’s hold on her slackened immediately, but he didn’t back away.
Instead, he smirked, as if Antonio’s arrival was a challenge he had been waiting for.
“Ah. Antonio, Jeremy said, his voice dripping with mockery.
Zabelle here. Seems like
you’ve been keeping secrets from her.”
“What a coincidence. I was just catching up with Z:
Antonio’s jaw clenched, but he didn’t respond immediately. Instead, he stepped forward, his gaze shifting to Zabelle.
“Are you okay?” he questioned, his voice calm but tight with restrained anger.
She nodded quickly, her eyes pleading with him to defuse the situation before it escalated further.
Jeremy chuckled. “She’s fine, for now. But I wonder how fine she’ll be once she finds out about Natasha” Antonio’s eyes flicked to
to Jeremy, and something dark passed over his expression, something Zabelle didn’t miss. “You should leave, Jeremy. Now.”
Jeremy raised his hands in surrender, taking a step back. “Fine. But don’t say I didn’t try to warn her With one laut smirk, he turned and left the restaurant, leaving an oppressive silence in his place. Antonio turned to Zabelle, his gaze softening as he reached for her hand. “Come on,” he said gently.
“Who’s Natadu?” Zabelle immediately fired at him.
Now is not the place for the time to discuss it,” Antonio said t
through gritted teeth.
Who was this Natasha and why didn’t she know about her? More importantly, why did Antonio look like he was ready to murder someone over her bring mentioned2
That was what she was talking about. Antonio knew vinually everything about her, and she hardly knew anything about his past.
“You’re right,” she agreed, and she turned to leave the restaurant.
There was no paint in staying as her mad had been ruined.
“Zabelle,” she heard Antonio call after her, but she was
the mood, and so she ignored him till she got out of the
out of the restaurant
Without a minute, the car was brought back to them then and Antonio finally spoke,

“Are you really going to cancel?” Antonio asked in disbelief when after they handed him back his keys.
The fact that he even had the guts to ask her that question just infuriated her some more, and she cursed under her breath.
“Yes, now are you going to take me home or should I take a taxi?” She asked.
“Fine, your choice.” Antonio hissed in annoyance as he unlocked the car.
Without wasting time, she opened it and got into the car.
Antonio hesitated before getting into the car and driving out.
Zabelle turned her attention to the window, as she didn’t want to have to speak to Antonio.
But she couldn’t stop asking hers
elf that question. Who was Natasha
And why did Jeremy know who she was!
