Book 3 The Alpha’s Secret
Sister
At the freshman welcome party, a wealthy girl in designer clothes bragged about how her brother had donated two teaching buildings to the school. Instantly, a crowd of classmates flocked to flatter her.
I glanced at my older brother, Alpha Asher, who was standing beside me, and asked with a sly smile, “When did you secretly adopt a sister?”
“I’m sorry, sis,” my brother muttered, lowering his head and looking at me with a pitiful expression. “I got scammed by an online relationship!”

“Ha! Alpha Asher in an online relationship, haha!” My wolf soul, Vespera, burst out laughing so hard that she nearly spat out her drink.
After some prodding, my brother reluctantly ⚫ shared the details of his online romance.
The wealthy girl’s name was Liora. Online, she was a sweet, innocent girl, and my brother–swept away by her constant “big brother” affection–ended up in a long–distance relationship. He bought her bags and flowers without a second thought.
But when he finally met her in person, he was shocked to discover that Liora’s photos had all been fake.
“I didn’t know how to turn her down! I was in total shock when she showed up looking completely different in real life,” Alpha Asher

confessed, trying to act casual, though his awkwardness was clear. “You know I can’t just reject people, but with her… I couldn’t do it. So, I told her I already had a girlfriend.”
“And then you just accepted her as your sister?” I raised an eyebrow, clicking my tongue in disgust as I pulled my hand away from his.
“She begged me nonstop, ‘Please, don’t abandon me!“” My brother tried to grab my hand, but I shoved him away, repulsed.
“Stupid brothers can be dropped,” I muttered.
Alpha Asher had returned to school as one of the top ten successful alumni. The principal was eager to publicly commend him for donating two buildings to the school. Since it was a welcome party, I was obligated to attend as well.

It wasn’t a formal event, so I kept my outfit simple. My brother insisted that I go with him, and I agreed. But after hearing his online romance story, I couldn’t help but think he was an idiot.
“Don’t even think about dragging me into this. Go play by yourself,” I said, giving my brother a disdainful look and stepping away.
Just as he was about to say something, a sweet voice called out from across the room.
“Alpha Asher!”
A chill ran down my spine. Liora pushed through the crowd and rushed toward us in small, eager steps. Without hesitation, she shoved me aside.
“Alpha Asher! I knew you’d be here!” Liora

beamed, standing directly in front of my brother.
I rolled my eyes and silently mouthed, “Good luck.”
Ignoring my brother’s desperate gaze, I wandered off to grab some fruit. I sat down leisurely on the sofa, watching the rich girl chase after my brother.
As I munched on fruit, I began recording a video. I was planning to save the footage so I could mock Alpha Asher later.
Vespera, my wolf soul, cheered me on. “Haha, look at your brother!”
Alpha Asher did his best to resist Liora, but she seemed utterly oblivious. It wasn’t until the principal invited him to the stage that he finally got a break.

After Alpha Asher finished his speech, the crowd applauded. I clapped the loudest.
Someone bumped into me and scoffed. I turned to see Liora glaring at me as she pushed past, clutching a bouquet of flowers.
When Alpha Asher came down from the stage, Liora smiled sweetly and handed him the flowers. I couldn’t help but grin, watching my brother look utterly helpless.
The principal joined them, exchanging pleasantries with Alpha Asher and repeatedly assuring him that Liora would be well taken care of at school.
“Do you like Alpha Asher too?”
A voice spoke up beside me. I turned and saw a guy standing next to me, hands

casually shoved in his pockets.
“Well, who doesn’t like a rich guy?” I teased him.
Of course I liked my brother.
“I’m rich too,” he replied with a smirk.
He introduced himself as Ulric, a senior. My brother had just graduated.
“Alpha Asher is a player. You won’t be able to handle him,” Ulric said, his grin widening.
“What does it matter? He’s rich,” I shrugged nonchalantly.
After all, those women only cared about my brother’s money, so as long as he had it, that was all that mattered.
