Book 4 Bringing The Alpha To
His Knees
The office door creaked open.
Alpha Dulcea stood at the threshold, his tall frame towering at 6’1“, radiating an aura of quiet power and sophistication. His tousled hair, parted casually to the side, fell lazily across his forehead. Clad in a perfectly tailored suit, he exuded an unmistakable air of wealth and authority.
“Hmm? You’re still here?” he said, his voice low as he walked towards me.
Behind him, Dubel followed, his laughter dripping with mockery.
“I’m waiting for you, Alpha Dulcea,” I lifted my gaze to meet his eyes, trying to steady my

breathing.
His eyes flicked briefly over my disheveled face, and I instinctively lowered my gaze.
“What’s wrong, sweetheart? You don’t look ⚫ too good. If you’re feeling off, you should see a doctor.” His tone was laced with concern, though I could tell it was feigned.
I shook my head. “I think there’s been a misunderstanding between us…”
Before I could finish, he pressed a finger to my lips, silencing me.
I hadn’t slept in two days, and my lips were cracked from exhaustion. The soft, yet unfamiliar sensation of his touch made my heart race, and I froze in place, my entire body stiffening as if paralyzed.

He leaned in closer, his breath warm against my skin as his hand gently cupped my chin. I could feel his breath hitching, the rise and fall of it against my ear.
“Wait for me at home,” he whispered, his
- voice hushed but commanding.
His grip tightened, and tears threatened to spill from my eyes.
Just then, the sound of laughter echoed from the hallway.
“Did you hear? Alpha Dulcea’s childhood sweetheart is back. Looks like Beth won’t be keeping her position for much longer~”
“Oh, this is going to be good! Everyone knows Beth and Dubel clashed in school. If Beth and her gang hadn’t bullied Dubel, would Dubel have ended up at the Silver

Moon Pack? The whole office has been buzzing about this.”
“Alpha Dulcea was about to marry Beth. But with Dubel back in the picture… things don’t look good for her. She’s still the assistant director, but her position’s in serious jeopardy now.”
“Haha, no way! This is better than a movie! It’s like watching the villain get what they deserve. She’s asking for it!”
The laughter grew louder, drawing closer, until it stopped suddenly.
“Sorry, sorry, Alpha, we didn’t mean it.”
The group froze in place, heads down, apologizing in unison.
“Next time, you’re fired,” Alpha Dulcea

snapped, his tone cold and final.
He flicked his hand dismissively, signaling for them to leave.
Just as they shuffled away, Dubel seized ⚫ the opportunity to shove me roughly, taking
advantage of my distracted state.
My back hit the steps, and the force of the push sent me stumbling. My feet slipped, and I lost my balance completely.
With a loud thud, I tumbled down the stairs.
Pain shot through me–my knees and elbows scraped raw, blood beginning to pool on the floor.
The group, not far off, quickly pulled out their phones, rushing to capture my humiliating
fall.

I shielded my face with my arms, desperately trying to avoid their cameras.
I managed to push myself up, dusting myself off.
At the top of the stairs, Alpha Dulcea stood watching, his gaze unreadable. Not once did he offer a hand.
My hair was a mess, my legs trembled with the weight of the situation, and my heart pounded in my chest.
“You should go home. I’ll take care of things here, then I’ll be back. Remember, don’t say anything unnecessary.” Alpha Dulcea barely acknowledged my injuries, pulling out his phone to call his assistant, instructing them to take me home.

Without sparing me another glance, he grabbed Dubel’s hand and left the hallway.
The vast corridor was now silent, save for the sound of my quiet sobbing.
