Do you care about us at all? Are you going to turn your back on us just like that?
Tears poured down my cheeks: I read through the text that I’ve been getting from my father for the past two weeks since I left the house, but I couldn’t bring myself to reply to any of them.
It has been two weeks already, and here I am, sull finding it difficult to get the

I left the pack finally the next day that I left the packhouse to another city where I was sure Enzo would never find me. I wanted to start a new life here with my unborn babies, but it hasn’t been easy for me. Though things were tough for me, I never regretted leaving the packhouse, and there’s no way in hell I’m ever going back there.
I went inside the bathroom to bathe after I dropped my phone on the bed. My shift at the bar where I work part–time was already approaching, and I needed to leave the house 1001.
It took me about an hour to get ready, and I left the house once I was done.
I was already fifteen minutes late by the time I arrived at the bar as there was traffic congestion on my way here.

I wasn’t sure if we’ve met before, but Adele has been mean to me since the first day I stepped foot into this place, and it’s crazy because I didn’t remember doing anything to offend her.
“I’m sorry. There was traffic congestion on the road. That’s why I couldn’t make it here on time. I’m really sorry” I apologised to her because I didn’t want any trouble with her. I just got this job barely one week now, and losing it was the last thing I wanted.
“Yeah, you really should be.” She threw me a deadly glare and hissed loudly before leaving, not after she got rid of her apron and picked up her bag. I took over from where she stopped, attending to customers.
“A bottle of wine here.”
“Two glass cups here”
“Waiter, the bill, please.”
-I need a bottle opener here.”
“A bottle of strawberry juice.”
It felt like I was about to lose my mind with the many orders at the same time. It was difficult running around the bar like a mentally deranged person, especially as I was the only one, but I knew I had to endure it if I wanted to make money. I was still sleeping around anywhere I found comfortable for me to pass the night, and I needed to save up to rent an apartment for myself
“Waiter!” I was about to sit to rest when another customer called my attention, and I went to take his order.
After I served his drink on a tray, I carefully picked it up and started walking toward him. However, I was forced to stop as my eyes suddenly went heavy and started spinning. I forcefully opened my eyes, chatching my fingers tightly around the tray to prevent it from falling from my hand as 1 kept pushing myself to walk to the table, but my body only grew weaker.
I groaned silently, shaking my head and blinking my eyes to get the dizziness off, but it only grew worse as I felt a bang in my head, headache setting in. My eyes went blank, followed by the sound of bottles crashing on the floor as the tray fell from my hand, and the last thing I remembered was slumping on the ground with a loud thud before I blacked out.
I had no idea how long I was unconscious for, but I only woke up on the hospital ward to the raging e forties

“Si_sir?” My heart missed a beat as I managed to sit on the bed, and he didn’t even flinch to come and help me up.
“I asked you before I hired you if you were pregnant because we don’t accept pregnant women here, but you lied to me. What are you going to do about the expensive drink that you wasted? You have only worked with me for a week and you already destroyed one of the most expensive drinks there. How are you going to pay for it?” He snarled at me, his eyes filled with rage as they glared hard at me, and I swallowed nothing as I bit hard

Though I’ve heard rumors about him that he was a difficult man, I didn’t think it could be this worse. I collapsed, and the only thing he was concerned about was the lost drink‘ He didn’t even care about my health.
“I’m sorry, sir, I didn’t mean it.” I apologised to him as I held my gaze low, and I heard him scoff.
“The drink is fifty–five thousand dollars. So, how are you going to pay for it?” My heart sank into my him speechlessly.

Tears streamed down my cheeks as I stared at the closed door. It felt like the whole world was against me. How did I go from being a cherished daughter to this? Why do I have to suffer this fate? Well, that wasn’t important right now. How was I going to get out of this mess that I’ve put myself
into now!
