Upon hearing this, Benjamin couldn’t try still many stood up, orging Alexander,
Tad, let’s go. She’s fine now, why are we still staying here? I see her face is rosy; there’s nothing wrong. She’s just pretending to faint to gain sympathy. Let’s go see Auntie. She’s terrified of pain and has lost so
ch blood. She definitely needs us now.”
As his sleeve was being pulled, Alexander helplessly got up. But when he reached the door of the ward, he suddenly stopped, turned to look at her, and said with some helplessness in his tone, “I’ll come back to
see you later
With that, he turned around and didn’t look back.
After he and Benjamin left, they never returned.
Isabella lay there resting when suddenly a message notification beeped on her phone.
She opened it and saw a picture sent by Olivia.
In the photo, Alexander was holding a bowl of congee, feeding a spoonful to her lips, his eyes filled with such tenderness it seemed like she could drown in them.
In another photo, Benjamin was sitting at the foot of her bed, obediently massaging her legs.
You saw the scene at the birthday banquet. Alexander still has me in his heart. Your child also likes me. You’re nothing more than a nanny, so hurry up and get out of the way!”
The provocative words fell into her eyes, but they didn’t stir any emotional reaction in her.
After a pause, Isabella typed a few words and sent them back.
“Don’t worry, it will be soon.”
Soon, I will give them all to you.

The reply came quickly, but no matter how many messages the set of how many times she died, Isabella didn’t bother to reply,

After completing the discharge formalities, as they were about to get in the car, a man and a woman walked out of the hospital and headed directly for the car parked next to them.
After placing their luggage in the back seat, the man opened the front passenger door, then exaggeratedly
bent down.
“Wife’s seat, please get in!”
The woman playfully slapped him, but her face clearly showed more joy,
Who wouldn’t like this obvious display of affection?
Alexander obviously heard the conversation, and his hand hesitated for a moment as he opened the front passenger door,
Olivia walked up to him with a smile, grabbing his free hand, then looking at the door he opened for her, her posture intimate and natural.
“Brother, did you open this door for me?”
He nodded, but his gaze uncontrollably drifted toward Isabella on the other side.
Various thoughts swirled in his mind. He had considered many possible reactions from her–would she be angry, sad, or perhaps both?
But despite all the possibilities he had imagined, he never expected her to calmly open the backseat door by herself.
It was as if she hadn’t heard the words “wife’s seat” at all.
Perhaps, when they married, he had already told her that he loved someone else. And because Isabella loved him too much, she had always been obedient over the years, never fighting for anything, never expecting anything from him. Like now, she knew his heart belonged to Olivia and didn’t insist on taking the position of his wife in front of others.
Yet for some reason, at this moment, Alexander felt a strange unease.

Farewell Without Beturn
Chapter 6
“Brother, I think I left my necklace in the hospital room. It’s very important–it’s the one you gave me
when I turned eighteen…”
Just as she was about to get in the car, Olivia suddenly spoke in frustration, instantly drawing the attention of Alexander and Benjamin.
Hearing this, Alexander turned and walked back toward the hospital. “I’ll help you find it. Wait for me
here.”
Benjamin, seeing him leave first, quickly followed. “Dad, I’ll go too!”
The two of them disappeared into the crowd. Olivia turned her head and looked at Isabella. She raised
her chin, her tone dismissive.
“You really can stay calm. Even now, you still can’t bring yourself to leave. Isabella, if I were you, I’d tuck
my tail between my legs and leave already!”
Isabella had no time to entertain her dramatics, nor did she want to listen to her barking. She didn’t even glance in her direction.
But unexpectedly, this attitude only fueled Olivia’s anger, and she snapped harshly, one cutting remark
after another. Isabella remained silent, until suddenly, the sound of a slap echoed in the air.
She turned her head, and Olivia’s face now had the imprint of a slap.
“Isabella, the issues between me and Brother have already passed. You don’t like me, so from now on, I
won’t appear in front of you, but why did you hit me?”
