Chapter 7
Before Olivia could finish, Alexander and Benjamin rushed in like a gust of wind, forcefully pushing Isabella to the ground.
Seeing Olivia crying with tears streaming down her face, Benjamin was so angry he could barely control himself. He rushed to Isabella, who was on the ground, and slapped her several times!
“It was just a little blood drawn, and you’re getting revenge on Aunt like this? You’re so vicious!”
Isabella hadn’t expected Benjamin to suddenly attack her. Perhaps he really hated her–those slaps were full of force, making her head spin, and her cheek burned with pain.
“Benjamin, enough!”
Only when Benjamin had let off his steam did Alexander call him coldly, then turned to look at Isabella, his eyes icy, devoid of emotion.
She couldn’t tell if her face hurt more or her heart, Finally, she snapped back to her senses and tried to explain, but her voice had become hoarse.
“Alexander, Benjamin, I didn’t hit her. There are security cameras here. If you don’t believe me, you can check for yourselves.”
But neither father nor son paid any attention to her words. They each helped Olivia into the car, ignoring whether Isabella had gotten in as well. They simply left her standing there, driving away.
Watching the car disappear, kicking up dust, she couldn’t help but let out a bitter laugh.
In front of Olivia, how could she still think of explaining? She was too naive.
When Isabella returned home, the house was empty. She could guess that Alexander and Benjamin had gone to Olivia’s place.
Looking at the silent villa, she glanced at the calendar and remembered three days from now, the divorce cooling off period would end, and she would finally be able to leave them behind for good.
From then on, the sky would be high and the birds free, the sea vast and the fish swimming.
She would have no further ties to them.
On the third day of the countdown to her departure, Alexander and Benjamin hadn’t returned, but
Isabella received a video.

Isabella calmly finished watching the video and found the gifts she had once given to Alexander and Benjamin. Dust had accumulated on them, and most of them had never even been opened
She threw all the gifts into the fire, letting them burn to ash.
On the last day of the countdown to her departure, Isabella received the third video.
In it. Alexander and Benjamin were spending large amounts of money at an auction for Olivia.
No matter how expensive the item, Alexander bought it as long as Olivia liked it.
Whenever Olivia frowned, Benjamin would hurry to warm her hands or feed her fruit.
In their eyes, only she existed.
Isabella watched the video without expression, then went out to get her divorce certificate. When she
came back, she cleared every trace of herself from the house.
On the day she left, Isabella packed all her things.
Just as she was about to leave, Alexander and Benjamin suddenly pushed open the door and walked in. The first thing they said was for her to apologize.
“Today is Olivia’s birthday. You hit her last time, you should apologize to her.”
Isabella stood still, her expression calm as she looked at them. Strangely, both Alexander and Benjamin felt their heartbeats quicken, a sense of panic they couldn’t shake.

You were wrong Shouldn’t you apologize?
When Alexander spoke. Benjamin, as if finding his anchor, gripped his hand tightly and chimed in.
That’s right, you hit Auntie. You should apologize to her!”
Isabella just kept staring at them, not saying anything.
When Alexander and Benjamin thought she would remain stubborn, she suddenly turned around.
Tunderstand. You can go first.”
Alexander paused for a moment. Hearing her words, his brows furrowed once again. “Aren’t you coming
with us?*
“Since it’s a birthday party, I need to change into a dress and put on makeup. Don’t you dislike waiting? And for Olivia’s birthday, she’d surely want you to be there from the start.”
Her expression was indifferent, and her words were clear and logical, leaving Alexander speechless.
Benjamin glanced at her a few times, then grew upset again. “You stay home every day cooking, what’s the need to put on makeup?”
