As people began murmuring in confusion, Olivia’s face suddenly changed when she recognized the
familiar scene.
This was the footage from the underground parking lot at the hospital, the day she had framed Isabella for hitting her.
At first, Alexander didn’t recognize it
But soon, he saw the footage showing Olivia, Benjamin, and Isabella together.
The incident hadn’t been long ago, and the images quickly brought back memories for both father and son. They instantly realized what this was about.
“Turn it off, now!”
Olivia screamed, and in her fury, she grabbed a wine glass and threw it at the screen.
The servants, startled by her reaction, rushed to turn it off, but Alexander stopped them. Benjamin also looked at Olivia in confusion, unsure why she was so upset.
Alexander and Benjamin had never doubted the truth of that day.
In their minds, Olivia was gentle and kind. There was no way she would have schemed to harm anyone. So when they saw this footage, their first reaction was anger.
They were angry, but all they wanted was for Isabella to apologize. She, on the other hand, wanted to make this matter known to everyone.
But what good would it do her to escalate the situation?
Benjamin didn’t think that much. Although still somewhat confused, he patiently tried to comfort Olivia, “Aunt, don’t be afraid. If she wants to escalate things, let her. Does she really think she can ruin your birthday banquet? Such wishful thinking! Since she wants to make it public, then let everyone see how malicious she really is!”
He said this angrily, completely unaware that behind him, the expressions of Alexander and the other guests had grown strange.
Who would ruin a birthday banquet at the cost of their own reputation?

Carter Group was the top family in the city, and most of the businesses and families in attendance relied
on Carter’s influence.
They could gossip about Carter’s adopted daughter, but in this situation, they couldn’t talk about the president of Carter Group or the future heir.
However, most of them secretly felt a sense of contempt.
