In the process, Jordan buried his own conscience. That day, he waited outside the door, listening to the girl’s desperate screams from inside. Willa might hate you, but she’s never done anything to hurt you. You, on the other hand, have never stopped trying to destroy her. You think I don’t see what you’re doing? Having Jordan isn’t enough for you, is it?“>

I don’t want Jordan to start overthinking things. That’s it. I’m hanging up.” He ended the call before she could respond. Yet, his heart was still pounding in his chest as if it were about to burst. Soon, the employees he had sent to search for Willa started rel coming back. One after another, all with the same answer. There was no sign of her.
The moment the yacht docked, Jordan made a decision. He called the police. The investigation spread far and wide. Eventually, they found traces of Willa abroad. Jordan didn’t hesitate. He handed his company affairs over to his friend and went straight to the airport. On the way, he sent a message to his brother, but not to beg for Jade.
No, he was finally telling him the truth. Jade was his wife; he deserved to know the kind of person she really was. What he chose to do with that knowledge, whether to stay or leave, was up to him. Jordan wouldn’t interfere anymore.”
