I found a bottle of women’s lubricant in my husband’s bag
In stead of yell or make a scene, I quietly replaced it with SUPER GLUE.
You guess what? At 2 AM, my postpartum nanny was been rushed to the emergency room…
While my husband Mark was taking a shower, his phone wouldn’t stop buzzing in his bag, waking me from my light sleep.
I took it out to check. Just a spam call starting with 400.
After hanging up, I was putting the phone back when my fingers brushed against something.
Cool and smooth. Like a small bottle.
I hesitated for a moment.
But curiosity finally got the better of me. I had to see what it was.
Pink bottle. The packaging featured a suggestive anime woman. All the text was in Japanese.
It didn’t look like anything proper.
My heart tightened.
I quickly scanned the bottle with an image search app.
The results that popped up on the screen made me freeze instantly.
It was women’s lubricant. The “intense stimulation” kind.
And… it had been opened. Clearly used.
My vision blurred, like I’d been hit over the head.
I was still in postpartum recovery.

The thought cut through my heart like a sharp knife.
The sound of water in the bathroom is still ringing, but my mind is in chaos.
With trembling hands, I opened his phone.
“Darling Wife” was pinned at the top of his messages.
Nothing but work and everyday conversations. Mundane to a fault.
I quickly searched through other social media apps, hotel booking apps, even games.
I couldn’t find anything suspicious.
Maybe–was this lubricant someone’s prank?
I tried to find a reasonable explanation for why this bottle would be in his bag.
But then my finger accidentally swiped to a folder labeled “Work.”
Inside was a parenting app.
That wasn’t right.
Mark had OCD tendencies. He always categorized his apps meticulously.
Why would a parenting app be in his “Work” folder?
My heart jumped.
My finger involuntarily opened the app.
