Iris was causing a scene, just like always- throwing fits, rolling around, and hurling curses. But with both Iris and Alan now in no shape to do anything, there was no way they could stand up to the burly truck
driver.
The driver didn’t even need to lay a finger on them. Just showing up and talking about the legal stuff was enough to make Alan realize he had no escape and had to pay up. He tried to blame me, saying it was a shared debt, and sent the driver to come after me. What he didn’t know was I’d already slipped the driver £5,000 to keep him sweet. That’s why the driver didn’t show up until I had the cash.
Alan still had about £10,000 left. Not a small amount, but not enough. I wanted him to lose everything and live the rest of his life in misery and poverty–paying for
what he did.

So, I gave Alan’s new address to his mistress, Isabella, and sent her the video of Iris beating her up in the hospital. Isabella, itching for revenge after getting beaten so badly, jumped at the chance. She and her crew went straight to Alan‘ s new place to demand her money.
To let off steam, Isabella also filmed herself giving Iris a beating. The video went viral. I had to check it out myself.
The footage was edited to focus only on Iris. She looked a mess–her head wrapped in bloody bandages, one arm in a cast, knee g on the floor with her face all bruised up. She slapped herself hard with her good hand, ranting about all the awful things she’d done.
At first, people online were sympathetic, wanting to report her abuse and find the people responsible. But as Iris kept revealing her cruelty, the sympathy turned to outrage. People were ready to jump through their screens to give her a good

The more Iris confessed about how she had tormented me, the more it struck a nerve. with many mothers. They were horrified and called her a terrible mother–in–law. By the end of the video, Iris was defiantly accusing Isabella of being paid off by me to torture her.
Of course, she still wouldn’t admit to killing the child. In her warped sense of reality, she believed everything she did to me was totally justified. Even after all her terrible actions, she refused to show any remorse, threatening that once she healed up he’d come after me and Alan‘ s mistress, Isabella, with a vengeance.
It wasn’t surprising when the online backlash hit her hard. Internet detectives dug up every bit of dirt on her, including the old man she was shacked up with and his trouble–making son. Turns out, the old man had been dumped by the wealthy. woman he was living off, and his son, who

was already a mess, ended up in even deeper trouble.
Blaming Iris for all their problems, the father and son showed up at Alan‘ s rental and refused to leave. Alan, beyond furious, called the cops. They were finally thrown out, but the old man managed to sweet–talk Iris back into letting him move in again.
The old man’s son was particularly nasty. He used and abused Alan’s stuff while physically attacking him. After he and Iris were cleaned out of money, the old man couldn’t get any more from Iris and blamed her for losing the rich woman he had leeching off.
The beatings the old man gave Iris were so savage that the entire building could hear her screams and curses on a regular basis. The police couldn’t do much; after all, Iris had told them he was just her old partner and that it was all just family drama.
