Chapter 3
After a long silence, Oscar slowly explained, “Donna and I…”
Before Oscar could finish speaking, Donna interrupted him with a smile, “Alright, don’t worry about us. I still need to think carefully about the matter between Oscar and me. Even if we want to
reconcile, it depends on his performance.”
He was visibly relieved.
His face was tense, his expression seemed a little ugly, and his tone was serious.
“We have something else to do, so I’ll take you back later.”
“Well.”
Sharon tactfully said nothing more and pulled me away.
My gaze was fixed on Oscar, but from beginning to end, he didn’t even bother to look at me.
I wanted to leave right away, but my body was frozen in place uncontrollably.
I tried my best to calm my emotions and didn’t dare reveal any clues.
After a while, I received a text message from Oscar.
[Don’t think too much, and I will explain the matter between Donna and me to you when I get back.]
I find it a little funny.
Chapter 3
However, before I said anything…
“Ah!” Donna suddenly screamed and fell to the ground.
“Donna!”
A familiar voice called out to my ears.
Then, I was violently knocked away by a figure.
I stumbled, and my arm scraped against the corner of the wall beside
- me.
Oscar looked concerned. “Is anything wrong?”
Donna looked pitiful. “It’s okay, and I just sprained my ankle.
“Don’t misunderstand her. Ms. Moore didn’t mean it, and she seems to have some misunderstandings about me.”
I find it a little funny.
However, before I could say anything, Oscar yelled at me, “Bella! I said I would have a good talk with you, but why are you looking for trouble with Donna?”
“It’s not me!”
“Did Donna deliberately frame you? I know who she is better than you!”
“So, in your eyes, I am such a despicable person, right?”
Oscar answered straightforwardly, “I only believe what I see. Bella, don’t use these inferior methods in front of me.”
