“Lord Mercer can cook,” Eleanor raised an eyebrow, surprised.
“Today, you will be the one cooking, but don’t step into the kitchen again: it’s dangerous,” Victor expressed his concern for Eleanor’s well–being, already mulling over the idea of getting her insurance.
“You can be quite overbearing.” Eleonor remarked, but she understood his worries stemmed from genuine care.
