After all, Randy was also from the Doyle family. No doubt he was on Delmot’s side. Besides, Evelyn and Dermot had already divorced. F if they hadn’t, Dermot might not really wanna help her.
Evelyn was clear about it.
But to let Ruby sleep well, Evelyn didn’t say anything.
Ruby went back to her room to sleep. But Evelyn couldnt. Instead of acting passively, she must be prepared for the worst.
All night, Evelyn thought about the solution, causing her to wake up with dark circles the next morning-
“What did you do last night?” Ruby couldn’t help shouting when she s Evelyn.
Evelyn looked in the mirror. While covering her dark circles with concealer, she said, “Nothing. Just didn’t sleep well”
“Evey.” Ruby suddenly called to her. “About the Kite Group’s affairs, sorry to make you worried.”
Hearing this, Evelyn turned to look at Ruby and said seriously, “Actually, I should say sorry. If not for helping me, you wouldn’t have offended Dermot.”
“I didn’t expect him to be so stingy,” Ruby complained. “He didn’t even give me a chance to apologize.”
“Let’s eat first. There’s always a solution,” Evelyn smiled at Ruby, walking out of the kitchen with breakfast.
After breakfast, Ruby packed her things and went back home because she was worried about her father. So far, she’d only been away from home for two days.
After cleaning up the kitchen, Evelyn changed her clothes, ready to go to the hospital,
As soon as Evelyn walked out, she froze as she saw the neighbor opposite open the door at the same time.
Unlike Evelyn, Dermot was obviously much calmer. “What a coincidence, Dr. Kyte.”
Stunned, Evelyn thought, Dermot is my neighbort Seriously?
“Yeah.” Evelyn came back to her senses, suppressing the shock in her heart.
While talking, the two walked to the elevator. Evelyn hesitated, wondering if Randy had told Dermot about the Kite Group, and whether Dermot would listen to Randy.
After a while, Evelyn spoke first, “Mr. Doyle, can we talk?”
Dermot glanced at her sideways calmly. “About what?”
“The Kite Group.”
Looking up at Dermot, Evelyn said, “Ruby shouldn’t have said bad things about you before. It was her fault. Sorry. Hope it won’t affect the cooperation between the Kite Group and the Doyle Group.”
With a ding, the elevator arrived. Dermot walked in without giving any answer.
Seeing this, Evelyn hurriedly followed and continued, “Mr. Doyle, as a generous man, you won’t stop the cooperation because of a few

“Mr. Doyle.”
“Dr. Kyte, you’re really tolerant. You clearly hate me. But you’re willing to beg me to save your friends. I really admire you,” Dermot sneered.
While cursing Dermot inwardly, Evelyn kept a polite smile. I don’t hate you.”
I just simply don’t wanna have anything to do with you,‘ Evelyn added in her heart.
“Really?” Dermot asked in disbelief.
Dermot was not a fool. Before, Evelyn’s hostile attitude told him clearly that she hated him.
“Dr. Kyle, why worry about the Kite Group? Your friend is quite capable able to go to my grandpa directly. She doesn’t need your help at all, does she?” Dermot sneered.
Evelyn asked herself, Ruby went to Dermat’s grandpa?”
