Chapter 4
Jocelynn tugged at the corner of her mouth and set down her phone.
When there is no greater sorrow than a dead heart, she has already lost the feeling of pain.
For several days in a row,
Trevor would leave early and return late.
Jocelynn also didn’t have the time or energy to spend on him, as she was busy with the final tasks of graduation every day.
She hoped everything would go smoothly. Once she got her graduation certificate, she could leave this city and start her brand–new life in a new place.

Jocelynn submitted her household registration migration application at school and just as she walked out of the campus, she ran into Ronald, a fellow student from Trevor’s laboratory.
He looked at Jocelynn in surprise and said, “Sister–in–law, why are you still here? Trevor’s experiment was successful, and we are celebrating at Seashore Villa today!”
Jocelynn was taken aback when Trevor didn’t tell her about this matter.
She was about to come up with an excuse when Ronald had already pulled her into the car.
“Let’s hurry over, you and Trevor are the protagonists today!”
Seashore Villa, the first thing that catches your eye is the enormous infinity pool.
Men and women were wearing cool swimsuits and frolicking in the swimming pool. In one corner of the pool, Trevor was embracing Miranda, who was wearing a bikini.
“Trevor!” Bonald shouted at Trevor.
Trevor and Miranda saw Jocelynn and quickly let go of each other.
“Sister–in–law, please don’t misunderstand. I just had a leg cramp in the swimming pool, so I held onto Trevor,” Miranda’s face turned slightly red as she explained apologetically.
Trevor supported her to the resting area by the stairs, and then hurriedly approached Jocelynn.
“Jocelynn, today was a pool party, and I thought since you can’t swim, I didn’t bring you along. You’re not mad, are you?”
Jocelynn didn’t say anything but instead looked at Miranda who was standing behind him, smiling provocatively at her.

“I specifically asked Trevor not to inform you, but I didn’t expect you to tag along like a clingy band–aid. It’s disappointing”
She walked over to Jocelynn and sat down, her open bathrobe revealing a large expanse of snowy white scenery.
“I reminded you kindly every day through Instagram that your senior no longer loved you. Why are you still holding on tightly?”
Jocelynn had a calm expression on her face.
A month ago, when Miranda added herself as a friend, she already knew that all those Instagram posts were secretly provoking her.
At first, she would also feel jealous and upset, but at the moment when her heart died for Trevor, she had long since become indifferent.
“You say, what would Trevor think if he knew you posted those Instagram photos specifically for me to see?” Jocelynn asked,
