Chapter 15
Phat person at present was gazing at her with smile on his face, causing her eyes to involuntarily
turn red.
Philip Floyd was a close playmate who grew up with Joyce in the orphanage.
He was a few years older than Joyce, so he always took care of her.
However, fate took a different turn. He was adopted by a family, while she remained in school and eventually received support from the Norton family.
Looking at the person in front of him, Philip’s eyes were filled with tenderness.
Back then, under the care of his good friend Audrey Mills, Joyce was also a happy little girl.
But fate took a turn, and he was adopted by someone. At that time, they were still young and had no means of contact, causing them to lose touch with each other.
For years, he had been searching for Joyce. It was not until he saw the wedding news of the Norton family heir on the Norton family’s official website that he realized Joyce had married Zander.
Zander knew a thing or two about what Joyce had been through, which made him even more heartbroken. She, who used to be cheerful and lively, was now exhausted both physically and mentally, bearing numerous scars from this marriage.
Upon learning that she was going to further her studies in Faymont, he and Audrey decided to move
nearby.
The two of them talked for a long time, and only then did Joyce come to know that he had already married Audrey and they had moved here in order to see her as soon as possible.
This time, she ultimately couldn’t hold back her tears and rushed into his arms, telling him about the bitterness she had experienced over the years.
When Audrey was seen during the dinner in the evening, she started shedding tears again.
Audrey asked with concern, “Joyce, what were your plans for the future?”
Joyce shook her head gently and said, “Not at the moment. My current goal is to complete my studies first, and then organize a personal book signing event or find a desired job. As for returning
to my home country…”
Her eyes flickered with a hint of confusion.
Go back? She must go back to visit Franco. After all, at the moment of parting, Franco quietly put
pocket money into her package.
However, this also meant having to meet Zander again, and as she recalled his crazy behavior, her

brows furrowed slightly.
The person in front of me quickly changed the subject, saying, “It’s okay, we’ll consider future matters in the future.”
In an instant, another late autumn arrived, and Joyce also entered her own graduation ceremony,
Gazing at the current scene, Joyce felt a surge of emotions in her heart as the long–awaited graduation ceremony finally arrived after a three–year delay.
“Joyce, have a pleasant graduation.”
“Joyce, have a pleasant graduation.”

Friends sent flowers and blessings, making her moved to tears.
During dinner, Joyce had a few drinks.
Although wine was bitter, it was not as heart–wrenching as sourness.
Thinking about the future, it was difficult to say goodbye. Everyone’s laughter and tears
intertwined as we played and frolicked until late at night.
A week later, Joyce packed her luggage, bid farewell to her friends and Faymont, and embarked on the journey back home with Philip and Audrey.
This was not a permanent residence, just a temporary stay.
On one hand, she wanted to come back and visit the principal’s mother, and on the other hand, she was also entrusted by her good friend to co–host a book signing event with him.
When Joyce saw the principal Franco, whom she hadn’t seen for a long time, her eyes became moist
again.
The principal gently caressed her hand and heard that she had been doing well abroad, with a look of contentment and joy in his eyes.
During the conversation, the principal suddenly mentioned, “By the way, after you left, Zander came to me and asked about your whereabouts.”
