Chapter 19
Edric’s brows furrowed sharply, an icy aura emanating from him. “Take it away!!”
The servant quickly removed the eyeball.
“What are you doing?” Pandora shrieked.
I’m giving your son a little something to help him out, Talia said, setting down her fork and speaking slowly, almost leisurely. I’m perfectly healthy, but your son–almost a year has passed, and he still can’t get it hard”
The room fell silent
After a long pause, Pandora finally swallowed, her eyes turning to her precious son. “Edric, you…”
She hadn’t expected Edric to be so impotent. It was utterly embarrassing, especially in front of Talia. She wanted to crawl into a hole and disappear.
“Edric, you down there…” Janice also seemed to buy into it now, her face turning an awkward shade of red as she looked at her brother.
“Talia!” Edric froze for a few seconds, then glared at her with such intensity that it seemed like he wanted to tear her apart. “What nonsense are you spouting! I wouldn’t touch you if you begged me!”
Upon hearing this, Pandora breathed a sigh of relief and turned to mock Talla. “You’ve made Edric lose his appetite. That’s why he won’t touch you!”
“The one who’s making me sick is your son! Talia shot back, her gaze sharp as she stared at Pandora “A man who’s already been with another woman is beneath met
Her voice was cold as she leaned in slightly, each word deliberate. “Instead of feeding me all these drugs, maybe you should teach your cheating son some decency!”
“You!” Pandora’s eyes widened in disbelief. She couldn’t believe that the usually meek Talia would dare speak to her like this
Talia stood up, glancing scornfully at each person in the room. “What “noble family are you talking about! A cheating scumbag for a son, a mom’s boy who betrays his benefactor, and a daughter who enjoys causing suffering.
“You all spout about virtue and morality, but behind closed doors, you use every dirty trick to torment an innocent woman! What kind of family is this? A bunch of sanctimonious beasts, honestly disgusting!”
Her words landed with brutal force, stripping away their polished facades and revealing the filth underneath. Pandora and Janice’s faces turned an ugly shade of purple from fury.
“Talia!” Edric’s cold gaze pierced her, like he was ready to cut her down with his eye
But Talia remained unbothered. She calmly pulled out the divorce papers she’d prepared earlier and placed them in front of Edric. “Edric, let’s divorce. I’m not joking.”
Edric looked down at the papers. She had already signed them.
“You can’t divorce! Sirena interrupted sharply.
Talia turned her head at the sound.
Sirena, well over sixty with silver hair, leaned on a cane as she walked swiftly toward her.
“Grandmother,” Talia murmured softly, her hand instinctively clenching into a fist
Memories from her past life flooded back. Every time she thought about leaving, Sirena would always beg her to stay, pulling her back with gentle words
Sirena had meant well, but it had only dragged her deeper into the abyss. This time, she had to break free.
“Talia, has Edric been bullying you again! If you’re upset, tell me, and I’ll give him a good talking–to! Divorce is not a word you throw around lightly.” Sirena said.
Sirena took her hand, her concern obvious, before throwing Edric a disapproving glare. “What have you done this time? Hurry up and apologize to Talar
Edric’s dark eyes flashed with understanding, a mocking smirk tugging at his lips as he looked at Talia. Edric thought, ‘So, this is your new trick?”
“Grandmother, don’t make him apologize.” Talia said, shaking her head calmly.

She gently pushed Sirena’s hand away. “He won’t apologize with sincerity, and frankly, I don’t need his apology anymore, Let’s just part ways peacefully
At those words, Edric’s cold, detached expression finally shifted, though only slightly
“Talia…” Sirena’s face turned serious
