Chapter 330
The mountain was bustling with noise and chatter.
Fenwick couldn’t make out what Torin was saying. He decided to act on impulse, rushing forward to snatch the phone before darting down the mountain without looking back.
“Fenwick, come back! Give me the phone!” Torin, who was clearly losing his mind, reacted instantly and chased after him.
“No way! The phone’s mine. Why should I give it to you?” Fenwick retorted, glancing back at Torin instinctively.
But that single glance was enough to cause him to lose his footing. He slipped and tumbled down the slope beside the mountain path.
Gasps erupted from the onlookers, drawing the attention of Caellan and the others nearby. “Wait… is that Torin? And Fenwick?”
“They’re just a pair of desperate losers. But why are they here? Don’t tell me you brought them, Caellan?” one of the group, a young and hot–headed man, turned to glare at him.
Caellan stiffened, straightening his neck as he met the other’s aggressive gaze. “What? Got a problem with that?”
The rest of the group remained silent, not offering any objections.
After all, they were eager to see those self–important men witness the pitiful state of the sister they’d once doted on so much.
Maybe she was long dead. Maybe her entire body was soaked in some resurrection liquid those frauds had cooked up, leaving her ugly, smelly, and disgusting.
Even if she had been brought back to life, she’d be nothing more than a grotesque creature.
While this group stayed silent, another round of shocked exclamations erupted nearby. “Hey, Mr. Booker! Aren’t those Elysia’s trashy brothers over there?”
Archer, who wasn’t used to hiking, was panting for breath.
Hearing this, he turned to look and exclaimed in surprise, “Looks like it! Are they seriously fighting on the slope? Serves them right.”
He clapped his hands in excitement, draining the last bit of his energy before leaning heavily on Litzy’s shoulder.
This nearly caused Litzy to fling him off in frustration.
“Get off me! I wouldn’t even be here if you hadn’t said Elysia’s robot was up here. Now my hair’s all messed up. How am I supposed to face Elysia pretty?” she said.
Archer wasn’t having a great time either. If Naomi hadn’t ghosted him again, he wouldn’t have been forced to track down the one robot whose location he could pinpoint.
That was eerily similar to how the Drayton family’s tech team had tracked Rowena’s location.
Everyone had seen the news. Valeria had come to the mountain to resurrect someone.
Curiosity was running high about what Elysia was doing here.
Ever since Elysia transferred him money, Archer felt like their conversations had taken a weird turn. It was almost as if she really was just a robot.
Before he could dwell on this conclusion, Litzy interrupted his thoughts. “Hey, stop spacing out. Keep climbing. I’m not stopping until I see Elysia.”
Archer, however, couldn’t shake a strange feeling.
He’d been too busy fighting off online trolls and tracking Elysia’s address. Now that he had time to think, a flood of unanswered questions filled his
mind.
“Forget it. Let’s just go down and drag those two idiots along. Maybe they’ll come in handy,” Litzy suggested.
They had every intention of using the pair to score points with Naomi.
Suddenly, the two men fighting over the phone felt an external force pulling them apart.

Chapter 330
Torn And Fenwick, right Hmph You’ll apologize to Elysia soon enough. Litry sneered, her smile laced with malice as if she were already envisioning their countless punishments.
Torm didn’t react at first. Then, recognizing Litry and Archer, he realized they were with Elysia
Within seconds, four hands grabbed hold of Litry and Archer.
“Tell us where Elysia is Where is she? Both men forgot about the phone entirely, bombarding the pair with questions, their desperation making them cling on like leeches
Archer didn’t even hesitate before blurting out. She’s obviously up the mountain. Why else would we hike all the way here?”
Litry clenched her fists and grudgingly added. “This mountain’s huge. Only we know her exact location, and we’re not telling you
Torin, who had been worked up a moment ago, deflated instantly. But he quickly pulled himself together, shoving the phone back at Fenwick. “Here. Take it. You don’t have a reason to leave now, so come with me to find Elysia
Fenwick couldn’t come up with another excuse to escape this anxiety–inducing mountain. Reluctantly, he followed Torin upward.
By the way, Fenwick opened a livestream on his phone to catch a glimpse of Elysia
As long as Fenwick saw her alive and well his heart would feel at ease. But the Elysia on the screen was nothing like the one he’d seen earlier.
In the hospital, Elysia’s face was deathly pale. She looked completely devoid of life. What had happened?
You fool. Elysia. Still trying to run? Why haven’t the police arrested you yet? Rowena cursed.
The audience was stunned. They knew Rowena had been faking her vegetative state, but they hadn’t expected her to brazenly confront Elysia
Elysia’s response was even more shocking. “No, you’re wrong. I’m not
Rowena hadn’t expected Elysia to argue over being called a fool and burst out laughing. You are a fool.
“If you weren’t, how did you fall from being Stellan’s high–and–mighty fiancee to a fugitive? If you weren’t, why do your family members love me and hate you?”
Elysia turned her head, her deep pupils locking onto the screen.
But today, her eyes seemed far deeper than before, surpassing the limits of human intensity.
“Don’t block my way. I have a mission to complete.” Elysia spoke as she advanced, forcing Rowena to stumble back step by step.
You you’re insane!” Unable to take it anymore, Rowena shoved her. But despite using all her strength, Elysia didn’t budge an inch. The recoil even sent Rowena sprawling to the floor.
Huh? How is she so strong? Rowena wondered, bewildered.
She scrambled to her feet and pointed at Elysia’s retreating figure. You just wait, Elysia! I’m calling the cops right now. They’ll come to arrest you?”
Of course, Rowena was bluffing. She was still pretending to be in a vegetative state and couldn’t speak to the authorities.
