Chapter 337
A beam of light burst from behind Elysia, and a dazzling array of colorful fireworks exploded in the sky.
For a moment, everyone instinctively looked up, marveling at the spectacle. But soon, as the wonder faded, they turned their attention back to Elysia.
Unexpectedly, she seized the moment when everyone was distracted by the fireworks, stepping onto the railing. Without the dark robe concealing her, her white dress shone brightly in the light.
It seemed that Elysia had always favored white.
But the crowd didn’t think she would die if she, a robot, jumped from the stone railing. They merely considered it the only way for her to escape.
“That way… follow me, it’s safer,” someone called.
“Imitation Ava, get down! Don’t damage Ava’s body. If you do, I’ll beat you to a pulp,” Selena and Ava shouted in unison, clearing the crowd out of their path.
They were certain that this person wasn’t the real Ava–at most, she could be one of Ava’s subordinates. She must have come here to complete some task set by Ava.
What reason did they have to stop her?
Perhaps, killing those who had bullied her was the greatest repayment they could offer.
Their eyes met, and a cold, murderous intent spread through the air.
If it hadn’t been for this person switching Ava’s heart, she would not have died.
Fenwick felt a chill run down his spine but didn’t take it seriously. Instead, he focused on coaxing Elysia down from the railing.
“Elysia, stop this. It’s dangerous over there. I’ll go wherever you want, just…”
“Where I want to go, I’m afraid you can’t follow,” Elysia interrupted him sharply.
What shocked him even more was that, once again, blue light began to emanate from Elysia. No, this wasn’t just light. It looked more like… fire.
The raging flames illuminated the scene, turning what had been a dimly lit area into something much clearer.
Immediately, a searing wave of heat rushed toward him, and Fenwick instinctively took a few steps back, squinting against the heat.
But only Caellan, despite the intense burning sensation, stepped forward eagerly, shouting, “Give her back! Give me my sister back!”
He seemed to have guessed something and gripped one of Elysia’s hands tightly, refusing to let go, even as his arm began to burn.
“You bastard. If you want to die, do it yourself.”
With his last strength, Caellan kicked at Elysia’s leg. Unfortunately, not only did he fail to push her away, but he also bruised his own foot.
Perhaps his words piqued Elysia’s interest, and she gently reminded him, “Elysia is already dead. Everything I’m doing now is at her request. Do you really want her to hate you even after she’s gone?”
Upon hearing those words, Caellan froze in place.
But his arm, already unresponsive due to the flames, remained tightly holding Elysia’s.
Even though his eyes were stinging from the smoke, he refused to close them
He fixed his gaze on Elysia’s face, slowly being consumed by the flames, terrified that in the blink of an eye, she would disappear completely.
“Then, let me grant you this wish.”
Elysia raised her hand and with a single twist, tore Caellan’s entire arm off.

Chapter 87
In on instant, blood sprayed everywhere, the strong stench of it filling the air.
A sharp pain surged through Caellan’s body, as though lightning had struck him. His face contorted in agony, mouth open wide, yet no sound ceraped
The severed arm… even as it was torn off, it still chung to Elysia’s hand.
This blondy scene made Fenwick’s stomach churn, and within seconds, he couldn’t hold it in anymore and began dry heaving,
As for Turin he was one again kneeling on the ground, his eyes vacant. If it weren’t for the faint rise and fall of his chest and his eyes still open, one might have thought he was already dead
The scene below was in complete chaos, and the one above was no better,
Just moments ago, an exploding firework had somehow fallen and wedged a piece of iron on the steel wire of Stellan’s cable car.
Now, he was only three meters from the platform, but the platform was empty, and the cable car wouldn’t budge.
All he could do was helplessly watch as Elysia embraced the corpse, jumped off the stone railing, and set herself on fire.
The blue flames gradually turned to white, the hottest flames in the world. Wherever they touched, it was reduced to ashes, even melting Elysia’s robotic body. What hope did the human Elysia have?
“No! You can’t do this! Not” Stellan shouted, slamming against the cabin door, but the thick, reinforced glass didn’t budge. Even if he shattered his skull, he couldn’t get out
“Someone! Anyone! Please get me out!”
Desperate for rescue, he lay flat against the floor, trying to shout through the small gap in the door.
From his low vantage point, he could see a cable car hanging in the air, swaying back and forth.
Yet, even if someone heard, they only glanced up briefly before quickly averting their gaze.
Just like how Stellan had once stood by, watching Elysia in silence.
Three loud cracks echoed.
Daybreak came.
Countless fireworks continued to climb and explode, showering down brilliant sparks like raindrops, lighting up the entire sky.
Twenty–three seconds later, the performance came to an end as the final firework bloomed in the night sky, signaling the end of Elysia’s story.
Suddenly, a blinding white light streaked across the horizon.
“My god, this is… She’s ascended! Elysia has become immortal!” Someone cried out, and immediately, a large group of people knelt down, while those who didn’t understand his words followed suit.
A thunderous roar shattered the night sky, and a lightning bolt split the sky. Moments later, rain began to pour.
Flysia’s remains turned to ash in the flames, and the smoke drifted into the deep mountains, now washed into the earth by the rain.
By the time spring arrived, perhaps she would grow alongside the wildflowers and grasses, bringing life to the entire mountainside, as though Elysia had returned to the world in a new form.
