I watched Dane take the kids away, and I pouted as I clicked my tongue at him.
That was just a little cut that was barely bleeding. I know Tristan is stronger than that and he would be just fine if I put some ointment and applied a bandage.
I knew Tristan would prefer the care of his mother to the pack doctor’s, but Dane doesn’t understand.
I shook my head as I waved at Sera, who turned to look at me. I feigned a smile, and when she turned back, I looked up to see Tristan had been watching me from Dane’s shoulder.
I waved at him, and he waved back at me too, pressing his lips ir to a smile. I sighed as I watched Dane bend a corner. I could no longer see the kids, so there was no need to fake this smile.
I frowned and dumped the sword on the floor. I was about to step on it out of frustration when I heard whistling nearby.
I raised my gaze to see Trajan walk up to me. He bent down. and picked up the sword, “Poor sword, you are suffering for someone else’s mistake.”

“I saw all that happened. You can’t blame Dane for being so protective, can you?”

I rolled my eyes. “Well, being protective is different from being unreasonable… he is acting like I don’t care about my kids.”
Trajan nodded as he listened. He had always been a good listener.
I pursed my lips and continued, “I also hate it that my Tristan got hurt, but that was a simple mistake… I was training the kids safely over here.”
Trajan nodded once again. “I agree, you were… but Dane didn’t stay long enough to see that… all he saw was that Tristan fell, right? You can’t blame him for being a caring father, can you?”
I nodded and groaned out loud. “You are right.” I bent low and picked up the swords the kids had dropped on the floor. “How’s the training going? Are there any issues I need to know about?”
I didn’t hear a reply from Trajan. Had he left?
I turned to see Trajan right behind me, but his eyes were pinned elsewhere. I followed his gaze and noticed Joclyn far in the garden as she performed yoga.
I smiled softly. “Isn’t she beautiful?”
“She is so… beautiful,” he whispered.

Dane and the kids crossed my mind. I sighed. I need to go to them to see how they are doing.
I walked inside the training equipment storage room and dropped the wooden swords inside. I got out and walked away from the training ground.
Piper was now training the warriors to perfect their arrow shooting skills. She picked an arrow and fired a perfect shot at an apple in the tree. It pierced right through the center and divided it into two.
Piper is good. She has always been so good. I smiled as I turned and my eyes caught a sharp eye peering at Piper from a corner.
Evander? I shook my head and walked up to him.
“Hey bud,” I nudged him and he turned to me.
“Good morning to the greatest luna of them all,” he replied.
I chuckled. “Isn’t that going too far? Do not anger the moon. goddess by comparing me up to her.”

I gulped as I looked around and saw Warrick sitting by the side, close to Piper. He was glaring at someone during the training and before I could guess, I saw I was right.
“Warrick,” I muttered.
Evander didn’t know he would have Warrick to face if he wanted to get to Piper. I sighed as I looked at Evander.
He seemed so dazed as he stared at her. I feel so bad for him. He wanted something he couldn’t have. I knew who was truly in Piper’s heart. Warrick has her heart, just that their stubbornness was not going to let them stay together.
I patted Evander’s back and I walked on towards the pack doctor’s place.
I reached and I saw Tristan sitting on a chair inside. He was all alone.
