Chapter 9
In the garden at dusk, almost all the roses had withered.
A gust of wind blew, and the last blossom on the chilly branch also fell onto the ground.
The flower fell.
The dream should have completely awakened.
It was the day when Emmett and Sandra sat together for dinner for the last time.
She wore a light green dress.
That skirt looked a bit familiar.
He thought for a while before he remembered.
When they first met, Sandra seemed to be wearing a similar outfit.
Back then, he had a failed struggle with his family.
Heartbroken and desperate, Jacey married a foreigner and moved far away.
He dealt with going to see Sandra, wanting to find an excuse to dismiss her.
With cruel and unbearable words, it was just the beginning.
She became teary–eyed.
Emmett had never seen a girl cry so much.
Her eyes were big, and those tears gathered in her eye sockets.
It took a while before it fell down with a plop.
She choked and said, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I really didn’t know you were forced to come and see me.” “I will go back and tell the elders in my family to cancel our engagement.”
She cried uncontrollably because of his hurtful and offensive words.
But he kept apologizing.
Emmett saw her standing up, crying, and accidentally knocked over the coffee.
The coffee stain dirtied her light green dress.
She lowered her head to wipe, tears falling down one by one.
Somehow, his heart twitched slightly.
Thoughts of a hopeless romance.

Jacey, who thought about getting married.
He actually gave birth to a kind of decadence that went with the flow.
“Did you call Sandra?”
She paused for a moment, nodded, and said, “Yes.”
“Do you want to marry me?”
She clenched the corner of her skirt and pursed her lips. Her curled and thick long eyelashes fell down, covering her slightly red eye sockets.
She nodded lightly, but her face turned red.
Then let’s get married.”
She suddenly widened her eyes, with a look of astonishment and surprise in her eyes. “But, but you just…”
He smiled, leaned back against the chair back, and lazily looked at her.
The descendants of the Dudley family all had good skin.
Moreover, at that time he was still young and full of vigor, and he was slightly frivolous and flirtatious.
He looked at her and smiled like that, and she became extremely shy.
“Just kidding, Sandra. When you go back, please don’t go to my grandmother to complain.”
She shook her head busily, “No, I wouldn’t tattle.”
After saying that, her ears turned red and she didn’t dare to look at him again.
After the date, he escorted her home.
When he got out of the car, he held her hand.
Three months later, they got engaged.
Seven months later, she married him. And now, she has been married to him for three years.
They had a child in their stomach.
Emmett felt a strange emotion surging within his heart.
The child came as scheduled within his plan.
He should have been delighted.
But that joy, however, seemed to have gained additional meanings.
These days, he often couldn’t help but think.
Will the child be a boy or a girl?
Of course, it would be better if it were a boy.
But if it’s a girl and looks a lot like Sandra, it should be good too.
But why would he want his child to be like Sandra?
His orie
His original plan was that this child would call Jacey “mom” in the future.
Emmett vaguely felt that some things seemed to have gotten out of control.
But he, surprisingly, did not want to rein in at the cliff. He inexplicably wanted to lose control completely.
