Tempting The Mafia Twins

Kiefer was frantic as they reached the house. Seeing the men laying on the ground his rage and terror were blending into one massive shitstorm of emotion and the need to rip heads from necks was becoming a fast and furious desire.
Three men in the driveway, two in the front entrance and one near the stairs caused his heart to sink.
“Jesus Christ,” he muttered as he raced to the stairs and climbed
them two at a time.
“Kiefer,” Allan’s voice called him back down the stairs, “she’s gone.”
“What?” dread curdled his stomach, and he staggered as he grabbed his chest nearly toppling back down the stairs.
“Where are Tadgh, Jerren, Lorcan?” Allan asked as if looking for more support.
“Coming. I was closest since I was transporting Laoise back to the warehouse. We all silenced our phones to make sure a wayward notification didn’t give us away. I grabbed Laoise while Dad and the rest were taking out all the men who showed up at the old estate. Where the fuck is my wife, Allan?” he made his way back down the stairs, his heart pounding.
“I’m tracking her. She locked Egan and Monica in the panic.

room. Six men showed up here and they were well trained men, mercenaries if I was guessing. Genesis handled shit. Took out four of the six of them on her own and one with my help. They surprised us. They were fast and lethal. They didn’t come here to play. They weren’t trying to kill her and as a result they each hesitated with their shots, but she didn’t. Then three more cars showed up. At least twelve more men, maybe sixteen and she was scared they’d find a way into the room to get Egan out and killing people to force it, so she led them away. She took Tadgh’s bike, told me to track her and that’s what I’m doing.”
Tadgh and Jerren came running in and Tadgh heard the last bit.
“She took my bike?”
“Yes. I’m tracking her. I’ve been hiding in a fucking coat closet watching the CCTV of the front door. I saw Kiefer come in. These men were trained, highly trained.”
“Hired.” Tadgh grunted looking at Kiefer. “Nazar said Oleg was shooting his mouth off how they were hired by Yegor to find Genesis and bring her to them. He hired a fucking small army. Oleg managed to tip his father off Genesis wasn’t at the house.”
“Where is Monica?” Jerren asked his face pale as he noticed all the dead men around them.
“Panic room. Genesis locked her and Egan in to protect them and then had a face off with one of the guys. She was good, Kiefer,” Allan met his gaze, frankly. “She caught the edge of the fucker’s foot out the bottom of the doorway and shot it to make him move so I could get a clearer shot of his head. She hit her

target even under pressure.”

Lorcan stepped into the room, “where the fuck is my princess?”
Allan set the laptop on the nearest table, “she took off on Tadgh’s bike. She’s leading these guys away.”
“Let’s go.” Lorcan turned away without further words.
“I want to check on Egan,” Kiefer said suddenly stopping his father. “Genesis will not be happy if we leave Egan in there unchecked.”
“Jerren,” Lorcan ordered, “you go let them out. Password we reset today is Roan O’Reilly, all one word. Make sure Egan doesn’t see any of this shit. I have a full crew on its way here and Nazar is sending his own backup. Get this cleaned up before we have any cops at the door. We have Oleg but not Yegor. My guess is wherever we find Genesis, this Yegor fucker is there too.”
“Dad,” Kiefer was torn. He wanted to follow his father straight into hell to get his wife back, but he also knew the very first question she was going to ask him was if their son was safe.
“Jerren will message us while we are on the road. Move,” Lorcan ordered him.
Tadgh gave him a nod and squeezed his shoulder, “Egan needs his mother alive. He is safe in the panic room. She’s not. Let’s go.”

He followed the team out to the SUV and Nazar was just pulling in. The older man hopped out of his car, “where are we going?”
“Genesis led them away from the house and Egan and to try to stop any more bloodshed,” Kiefer waved at him to join the convoy ready to chase down Genesis. “Allan is tracking her through her tracking device.”
“She is heading to the docks,” Allan said excitedly. “I can tell from her direction she’s heading to the company’s warehouse.”
“That’s my girl,” Lorcan grunted, “lots of places for her to hide.”
“She knows the password to get into the warehouse” Kiefer agreed. “She is still moving.”
“Yup and at a damn good clip.”
“I’m buying her a bike,” Tadgh climbed into the SUV and. slammed the door behind him.
The car took off like a rocket and Kiefer was staring out the window his mind worried about Genesis.
“She’s not going to be pissed off you didn’t go for Egan first.” Lorcan said quietly.
“I keep fucking up with her Dad and I’m double and triple checking every damn action I do with her. Egan is her number one priority every single time. I know she’s going to ask.”
“She’s going to be wanting your arms around her, Kiefer. She’s

going to be scared and she’s going to need the three of us.”
“She might be injured,” Nazar said suddenly. “She’s going to want her husband with her if she’s hurt.”
5/11
“She’s not hurt.” Kiefer shook his head. “She’s tough. You guys came a few minutes behind me but of the six mercs which entered the house, she took out four herself and helped Allan with a fifth by hitting his toe to make him move so Allan could take the shot. She’s smart and she’s strong and I know she is hiding in the warehouse and she’s safe and she is probably armed to the teeth. I know my wife. She is doing everything she can to survive to get home to Egan and to us. She loves us. She told us she loves us.”
Lorcan patted his shoulder, “I agree with you.”
“She’s at the warehouse,” Allan commented from his spot in the front seat. “If I was guessing, she’s parked the bike and she’s running.”
“How close can your tracking get us to her?”
“Until I’m literally standing over her.” Allan answered Nazar’s question. “I’m trying to log into the security system in the warehouse to get a visual on her.” He was typing frantically. “There!” he exclaimed. “Got her. She’s running. She looks. unharmed. She’s heading to the containers.” He switched views. “She’s in a middle container.”
“Keep the fire power away from her when we reach the warehouse,” Lorcan commanded. “Draw them away from the

containers.”
6/11
“There they come,” Allan hissed furiously. “Jesus Christ, they’re armed to the teeth. This time they have night vision and body armor.”
“Head shots only boys,” Tadgh grunted. “No mistakes.”
“You watch her container, Allan. You let me know the minute someone gets near it. We park on the other side of the warehouse away from where their vehicles are. How many men Tadgh are behind us?” Lorcan asked his son who was frantically typing out commands on his phone.
“Seventy–six. We’ll all get there within two minutes of each other. I’m giving directives now. A lot of the guys are asking how the fuck the house was compromised and if we have a mole.” He shot an angry glance at Nazar. “We didn’t but you fucked up.”
“I didn’t realize they even knew I was in the country, but they were tracking my car here. When the team got to your old house and realized Genesis wasn’t there, they retraced my steps. They knew I spent four hours at the new house today. When they checked the location, they realized it must have been where I met Genesis.”
“Who told him you were in the country?” Lorcan asked with an angry side–eye. He was looking forward over the back of the seat and onto the display of Allan’s laptop.
“According to Oleg, he called his father seconds before we hauled him out of his car. He told him Genesis wasn’t in the

mansion and must have been somewhere else which prompted them to retrace my steps. Oleg said they paid off my flight attendant. He promised to marry her or some shit. I’ve ordered her execution. My men are going to finish Oleg’s interrogation. I left a handful of your crew there to supervise and make sure they put Oleg down when they get what they want out of him. Your crew will confirm the kill. I wanted to do it myself, but I need to know Genesis is safe.”
“She would be if you had your house in order.”
Kiefer heard the anger in his father’s voice and felt his own bubble up. He too was watching the screen where, by his count, fifteen men were scouring the warehouse for Genesis. “You exposed our location and what should have been safe, wasn’t. You also said nothing to me about your uncle hiring mercs. How often does he hire soldiers to do his shit?”
“Never. He’s never done this before. This tells me he is serious and is coming for my seat at the head of our family. I think his end goal is to terminate my lineage, end me and take the family. This was his big play now he knows where Genesis is. If he took over too soon and she came out of the woodwork to claim her position they would have to give a damn good reason for her not to take over. With her found, they can take the three of us out, me, Genesis and Egan and then take the family.”
Kiefer’s phone rang and he answered it, “Jerren, you’re on speaker.”
“When you get her, tell her Egan is still sleeping. Didn’t even wake up. He’s back in his own bed. Monica is with him. I have

two armed guards at his door and three at each end of the hall. Nobody is getting up the stairs to them. I have eighty men in the house. Fifteen more positioned in the shadows. I’m on my way to join you.”
“How is Monica?”
“She said your wife is the coolest bitch she ever met, and she kept them safe. She didn’t hesitate even once. I think Monica’s in a bit of shock, but I’ll deal with it once Gen is home. The house is being cleaned. The team which was taking Laoise to the warehouse arrived safe. They have her in the panic room there. Nobody can get her out without your code, Kiefer. If anyone goes after her, they can’t get her out.”
“Good.”
“Oleg is dead and, as requested, his head has been removed from his body. They’re going to bring it to the warehouse. Gen left a walkie behind, and the guy Nazar left with me is translating. Yegor is expected to arrive in moments to the warehouse because he’s thinking they got her cornered. The team thinks you’re too busy dealing with Laoise for being a traitor.”
“I’m going to call him and offer an exchange of my daughter for his son.” Nazar said simply, “I mean I’m giving him back his son’s head. It counts right? He’s going to see his son’s head in my hand right before I blow his fucking head off.”
Kiefer and Tadgh exchanged glances and then watched with amusement as Nazar did as he said he would. He dialed out to

his uncle.

“I understand you took my daughter from her home. I am with her husband, and he is not pleased.” Nazar didn’t bother with pleasantries as he lied. “Where are you? I’ll exchange Oleg for her.”
“You don’t have him.” Yegor’s growl was furious. “He called me and told me you ambushed them, and he was back in his car and on his way to me.”
“Are you so sure? Try calling him. I bet an Irishman answers his phone. We have Laoise, the girl he was fucking, in exchange for information. We have Oleg and I’m going to take great pleasure in torturing him.”
“He is your cousin.”
“Really? She is your great–niece and yet you want a bullet in her head so you can make your son my replacement. Your plan failed uncle. If you want to see Oleg again in your lifetime, you better make sure my daughter is alive and well otherwise I’m going to keep him alive as a personal plaything for years to
come.”
“You wouldn’t dare.”
“You’ll never find him while you’re alive. Where did you take my daughter?”
“I will call you back.”

Nazar nodded at the men in the car, “if he finds her before we get there, he won’t hurt her because he prizes his son. He’ll keep her alive until I exchange him.”
“They’re starting to go through the containers,” Lorcan growled. as he watched the screen intently. “You better hope your fucking uncle doesn’t hurt her, or I’ll have your head on a platter for putting our wife in danger and not triple checking your security. before you came to her home.”
Kiefer felt satisfaction in the way his father was ready to declare war against Nazar for bringing this shit to their doorstep.
Someone was going to pay.
