“I heard you stalked your “sister” and humiliated yourself in public,” she said, her voice laced with mockery.
Cliffe’s bloodshot eyes flickered up to her, dark and menacing. “Get out,” he barked.
Unfazed, Evelyn crossed her arms. “My father wants to know when you plan to start the wedding ceremony. The elders of your pack are considering stripping you of your title if we don’t get married soon.“X
His jaw clenched, anger simmering beneath the surface. “Are you deaf? I told you to get out.
Evelyn’s next words cut through the air like a blade. I’m pregnant.”
A dangerous growl rumbled from Cliffe’s chest. “What?
“I said I’m carrying your bab..“H
Her sentence was cut short by the sharp sting of Cliffe’s palm striking her face. The force of the slap sent her stumbling, her head snapping to the side.!!
“What the fuck is wrong with you?!” she screamed, holding her cheek.
Cliffe’s expression twisted with rage. “How do I even know it’s mine? You’ve been whoring around for years.”
Evelyn scoffed, her voice shaking with fury and unshed tears. “Whoring around? Might I remind you I was a virgin when I met you?”
“So what?” he spat. “You’re getting rid of that baby. I don’t want it”
“No” she said defiantly, lifting her chin.
Cliffe’s eyes darkened. Then I’ll kill it myself.“X
Evelyn let out a bitter laugh, shaking her head. “You’re so pathetic. No wonder Aya left you. She deserves better abd Alpha Ryan is more of a man than you’ll ever be.“%

Her vision darkened, her limbs weakening, but before she lost consciousness, she felt something warm trickle down her thighs.
Blood.
Red
What a beautiful color.
Then everything faded to black.!
“Doctor, will she be alright? A voice broke through the haze of Evelyn’s unconsciousness. She struggled to blink, to focus, but her body felt heavy, her mind slipping in and out of the void.

“Yes, she…” The rest of the words faded into nothing as the darkness pulled her under again.
When she finally resurfaced, the first thing she felt was warmth, her father’s hand wrapped around hers.“!
“Daddy” she croaked, her throat dry and raw.
“Shhh, don’t talk, princess.” His voice was gentle, but there was a tremor beneath in.8

Her father’s silence made her stomach drop.X
“Evie..” he hesitated, gripping her hand tighter.
“Where is Cliffe?” she asked, forcing herself to turn her head despite the weakness in her limbs.
Her father exhaled sharply. “We couldn’t find him. The maids heard the screams coming from Cliffe’s cabin and raised the alarm. By the time we got there. His voice wavered
Tears spilled down Evelyn’s cheeks as she clutched her stomach. A sob tore from her throat.
“My baby.” she gasped.
“I want my baby!” She thrashed against the bed, her cries echoing through the sterile hospital room.!!
“Evie, calm down! Doctor! I need a doctor here now!” Her father shouted, trying to restrain her.”
A nurse rushed in, syringe in hand, and within seconds, a calming numbness spread through Evelyn’s body, Her sobs quieted, body going limp as the sedative pulled her into a dreamless sleep.
Her father stood by her bedside, fists clenched, his jaw tightening in barely contained mage.X
“I told you not to follow that boy,” he muttered, grief thick in his voice. “He was never good enough for you.”
As he turned and walked out of the room, a single tear slipped from Evelyn’s closed eyes.X
Evelyn woke up a day later, her body weak but her mind eerily sharp. When the nurse informed her father, he rushed into the room, face lined with worry
his
She didn’t acknowledge him. She just sat there, staring into space, gently caressing her belly as if she could still feel the life that had once been there.
Then, in a voice cold and detached, she whispered, “I want him dead.”
Her father stiffened. “What?”
“Cliffe,” she said, her lips curling into a chilling smile. “My baby wants him dead. A life for a life
Her father took a cautious step closer. “Evelyn.”
She turned her head slowly, looking to her side as if someone were there. “Isn’t that right, Raphael?”
His blood ran cold. “Who are you talking to?”
She giggled softly, then lifted her hand as though cradling something invisible. “Your grandson… my son. Raphael, say hi to Grandpa
Tears welled in her father’s eyes as he w
watched the daughter he once knew slip further away. Without another word, he turned and walked out of the hospital room, pulling out his phone with shaking hands.
“Find that wretched wolf Cliffe, he ordered, his voice low and dangerous. “Bring him to me ”
A few days later they found him.
By then, Evelyn had been diagnosed with schizophrenia. She spent her days whispering to an imaginary child, humming lullabies to the son she had lost
And in the dark, damp dungeon beneath the packhouse, Cliffe screamed as the whip lashed across his back, tearing flesh with each strike. His voice echoed, but no one came to help.
“You’ve ruined my daughter,” Alpha Morten growled, his expression twisted with fury as he landed another brutal strike.
Cliffe coughed, spitting blood onto the stone floor. Then, with a smirk, he rasped, “Your daughter is a whiny little bitch. Always desperate for attention ”
Alpha Morten let out a humorless laugh. “Didn’t you know that before you spread her legs? I raised her alone after her mother died. Maybe I didn’t do a perfect job, but who the hell are you to think you could use her, break her, and walk away unscathed?”
Cliffe’s smirk faltered, but the hate in his eyes didn’t waver
Alpha Morten exhaled, rolling his shoulders as if considering something. Then, with chilling finality, he said, “I thought about killing you. Evelyn wanted it. After all, you’ve been stripped of your title and you are no more than à rogue now. But death death is too easy
Cliffe stilled. “What do you…!!
“Take his pants off.“8
The guards moved swiftly, holding down Cliffe’s thrashing body as his struggles turned frantic
“No” he panted, his voice shaking now. “Wait, wait let’s talk about this, I’ll marry Evelyn…I promise.
*Should have picked that choice since, if you don’t want to be a father,” Alpha Morten murmured, pulling a butcher’s knife from the nearby table, “then you shouldn’t have one of these”
The blade came down.
Cliffe’s agonized scream tore through the dungeon, but no one was listening.
