Chapter 7
Harry’s eyes darkened, a hint of menace flashing through them.
“If I wanted a scapegoat, I wouldn’t have gone through all this trouble. Do you think the authorities would need more than a few hours to dig through your past surgeries and uncover the truth?”
The doctor’s expression turned grim.
“Then tell me, what now? Your wife is suing all of us! If this goes to court, not just you and me–even that kid won’t escape!”
At that moment, Olivia could no longer hold back. She stormed into the room, her voice shrill with panic.
“What did you just say?! That bitch Sophia actually sued us?!”
Harry shot her a look of undisguised disgust.
If this brainless woman hadn’t run her mouth in front of Sophia, they could have kept this secret forever.
His voice dropped to a dangerous coldness.
“Do you want the whole world to hear you screaming?”
Olivia quickly put on a pitiful expression, but her tone remained anxious.
“Harry, think of something! I don’t want to go to jail! Lucas is still so young…”
Harry massaged his temples.
“I can’t even find her. How am I supposed to negotiate?”
“I don’t care!” Olivia interrupted impatiently, her gaze sweeping over both men. “You came up with this plan! You two executed it! Don’t think you can drag me down with you!”
“If you don’t come up with a solution quickly, I’ll report you for illegal activities!”
The doctors were stunned.
“Olivia, we did all of this for you! We’re all in this together!”
Harry looked at Olivia, his heart filled with the anger of being betrayed.
He never imagined that after going so far for her, because things had gone wrong, her first reaction

would be to kick him aside.
Olivia continued, “I may just be an accomplice, but you two aren’t necessarily in the same boat as me!”
Her words completely chilled their hearts.
The doctor angrily retorted, “Don’t worry, if anything happens to me, the first ones to go down will be you and your son! The organs you illegally transplanted will all need to be returned!”
Olivia furiously grabbed something nearby and threw it at him. “Don’t you dare! You’re the ones who
voluntarily, didn’t I force you into it?!”

Harry stared at Olivia in disbelief. In that moment, he finally understood what it meant to have a venomous heart hidden behind a beautiful face.
He regretted, more than anything, that he had destroyed his once happy family for this woman.
“Olivia!” The man’s angry voice snapped her back to reality.

Olivia’s eyes filled with tears as she approached him, her voice trembling. “Harry, I was just too nervous earlier… I don’t want to go to prison… Please, think of a way…”
“As long as you can help me get through this… I’ll do anything… even if it means…”
Harry’s expression changed rapidly, and in the end, he pushed her hand away with disgust, standing up and brushing off his wrinkled sleeve. “Olivia, if you want my help, get as far away from me as you can right now!”
With that, the man turned and stormed out of the office.
Olivia was kicked out of the office, still feeling uneasy.
She thought about Harry’s words and worried that, to save himself, he might throw her and the doctors
under the bus.
After all, with the Peterson family’s resources, it didn’t seem that difficult to cover up.
Once the seed of doubt was planted, it took root and grew.
That night, after much contemplation, she made a bold decision. to run!
As long as she could get far away, even out of the country, the police wouldn’t be able to catch her!
She could start over with her son, even if it meant never returning to this country.
That night, she used all the money she had gotten from Harry to buy a flight out.

One week later, my son and I returned to the country, preparing for the court hearing a week later.
We didn’t return to our old home but instead found a beautiful guesthouse to stay in.
Since our return, Charlie had been downcast. I knew it was because of those bad memories..
As a mother, I understood his pain.
I also hoped he could find strength again through my company.
As for Harry, after using money to silence the entire hospital, he still felt something was missing.
After confirming that all the patient records in the database had been deleted, the doctor finally breathed a sigh of relief.
The day before the trial, the lawyer met with them for the last time.
In a café, the lawyer looked at the two men with a helpless expression. He felt a wave of despair.
With such undeniable evidence, the case was already practically sealed.
He didn’t even hope for a win anymore–just getting his clients out of the death penalty would be a success.
