Seeing that they were really starting to prepare for the wedding, I began to panic.
I couldn’t let her really marry into my family. We couldn’t possibly live with this drama queen, could we?
Taking advantage of a day when Chloe wasn’t at our house, I called a family meeting with my parents and brother.
“I don’t agree with Chloe marrying into our family.”
As soon as I said this, my parents and brother looked at me. My mom said, “Mollie, don’t make trouble.”
My brother seemed unsurprised, “As your sister–in–law predicted, you really don’t agree.”
Well done, she even predicted this.
My brother seemed somewhat exasperated, “Why are you so dissatisfied with Chloe? You seem to dislike her in every way. When she told me, I didn’t believe it. I didn’t expect you to still try to make things difficult for her at this time”
As he spoke, my brother had a look of feeling wronged on her behalf, “Mollie, can’t you just give her a chance for my sake? If you really don’t like her, after we get married, I’ll move out. Is that okay? We won’t live together.”
It seems Chloe had already given my brother a preemptive warning.
I knew that whatever I said next, he would think it was just an excuse because I didn’t like Chloe. She really was deeply scheming.
I knew it was useless to say anything more, so I directly took out those chat records between Chloe and her girlfriends.

Seeing is believing, they should believe me now.
I took out the screenshots one by one to show them, but my brother remained unmoved.
He only glanced at them for a moment before resolutely answering me, “This can’t possibly be what Chloe said.”
I knew he would say that, so I took out the full screen recording, from the account to the real–name information, all recorded.
My brother’s expression finally changed from complete trust in her to carefully examining the evidence, including the voice messages.
“Will you be my bridesmaid on my wedding day?” It was Chloe’s boastful tone. “I’m about to become the mistress of the Sanders family. Then fll be living the good life in the Sanders house.”
Her so–called best friend replied: “Is the good news coming? Congratulations, but being a daughter–in–law in a wealthy family isn’t easy. Whether it’s a blessing or a curse remains to be seen. Good luck to you.”
It seems this so–called sister wasn’t truly sincere either, one showing off and the other sour.
“Hmph, his parents are easy to fool, and they’re getting old. Once I’m in, they’ll have to listen to me. Only his sister keeps opposing me. When the time comes, I’ll find a way to drive her out and not let her interfere with my affairs in the family home.
After all, she’s just a girl, she won’t inherit anything from the family business. Everything in the Sanders family will belong to my husband. He’s already told me he’s going to take over the company in the future.”
