Sienna’s POV
The shop owner was a bit confused.
“What wedding dress?”
“The one from the Madron family. It was made a while ago.”
‘Miss Fowler, the Madron family only made one wedding dress, and that’s for Mr. Sharp’s fiancée.” Immediately, the owner’s eyes shifted toward me. Maia’s face lit up with excitement as she saw the dress.
“Wow, it’s gorgeous! This is the wedding dress of my dreams!”
But when she saw the dress on me, her face darkened with fury.
“Sienna, you shameless woman! First, you stole my fiancé, and now you’re here stealing my wedding dress?” She rushed over to tear the dress off me, but Howard quickly intervened, pushing her away.
“Miss Fowler, you’re getting ahead of yourself. This wedding dress was made for my wife.”
Maia froze for a moment.
“Uncle?” she stammered. “But his dress was made by Lance for me. How could you give it to Sienna?”
Howard looked at her as if she were a fool, finally shaking his head.
“You should be asking Lance for a wedding dress, not trying to steal mine from my wife. Do you not get it yet?” Maia’s eyes widened.
“What do you mean? Sienna is your wife? This isn’t funny, Uncle. If you’re looking for a younger wife, I can introduce you to all kinds of prestigious women, but Sienna–she’s nothing more than Lance’s lapdog-”
“Shut up! Apologize!”
Howard’s stern reprimand made Maia instinctively take two steps back.
She almost forgot who she was dealing with–the man who could shake the world with a stomp of his foot. She had thought that since she was about to marry into the Madron family, Howard would treat her differently. But now, she realized Howard wasn’t joking. Her eyes flickered, and she began throwing more mud at me.
“Uncle, you’re probably so busy with work you don’t know what kind of woman Sienna really is. She tried to climb the social ladder by seducing Lance, and now she’s after you. Don’t let her fool you! I can’t believe I just taught her a lesson, and now she’s shamelessly trying to seduce you!”
Howard, unable to bear it any longer, dialed Lance’s number.
Lance, still furious from the earlier beating, arrived quickly.
He stormed into the bridal shop, but his eyes were only on me.
When he saw me in the wedding dress, he froze, mesmerized, and called out to me softly, “Sienna, you’re so
beautiful!”
This time, Howard and Maia both had dark looks on their faces.
“Lance, who are you looking at? I’m your fiancée!”
Maia twisted his arm, making him wince. Only then did he realize she was there.
He angrily shook her off.
“What are you doing here?”
Immediately, Maia started crying, her voice breaking.
“Sienna stole the wedding dress you had made for me… and now even your uncle is protecting her. I haven’t even married into your family yet, and I’m already being treated like this. You have to stand up for me!”
Maia was completely clueless about the situation. She only knew that Lance was the sole heir to the Madron family. In her mind, no matter how powerful Howard was, he couldn’t top Lance.
But Lance completely ignored her, his gaze fixed solely on me.
“Sienna, I knew you still wanted to marry me. This wedding dress, I had my uncle make it for you. Now that you’re willing to wear it, I’m so touched. I knew all along you were just pretending with my uncle to test me. Now I know for
sure–i can’t live without you”
Even though Howard knew Lance was shameless, he couldn’t help but be stunned by his audacity.
