Chapter 10
“am not Allan’s father,” Colt instinctively denied, “I am here to pick up Emilie.”
The teacher was incredulous. In her impression, Emilie didn’t have a father and it was always Cindy
who picked her up.
“Don’t joke around, where did Emilie’s father come from?”
Colt’s face darkened, and his voice turned cold, “I was Emilie’s father, where is she?”
The teacher was surprised and couldn’t help but mock.
“Sorry, we all thought you were Allan’s father. Emilie has already completed the withdrawal procedures. Didn’t her mother inform you?”
“Do you know where she went?” Colt pressed.
The teacher shook her head, feeling sorry for Emilie and her mother, having such a husband and
father.
The teacher looked down on him, sarcastically saying, “You don’t even know where she went, and I’m supposed to know?”
“I know, I know,” a little boy ran over, “Emilie’s mom was the other woman, and she took Emilie
back to the mistress’s house.”
The teacher’s face changed dramatically, “Don’t talk nonsense, it’s very impolite.”
“Teacher, he wasn’t talking nonsense. It was Allan who told us that Emilie’s mother took away his father, took away his home. Allan said Emilie went away with her mother to be the other woman.”
Colt frowned, his face looking unusually unpleasant. He looked at the two children and asked,
“What else did Allan say?”
“Allan said Emilie was a bastard. I saw him often snatch Emilie’s things, telling her to get lost, and
saying that Dad only loved him.”
The mistress?
Bastard?
Colt’s breath tightened, as if a big hand was gripping his heart, a pain he had never experienced
before spread throughout his being.
Emilie suffered so much injustice in places where he couldn’t see, but she never cried or
complained to him.
The children’s words were like a sharp blade, constantly piercing his heart.

What did he do!
Emilie and Cindy had to endure such great injustice.
No wonder they looked at him with increasingly cold eyes.
The teacher noticed that Colt was not feeling well and quickly pulled two children over, asking them
to leave.
Colt clenched his fist and said, “When did Emilie withdraw from the kindergarten? I am his father, I
have the right to know.”
